GWEFODE organizes hands on training courses for women in water stressed areas on how to build Rain Water Harvesting Tanks to access water and improve on hygiene and sanitation in their households.
This project aims to mitigate climate change and empower women and youth through entrepreneurship training and go green innovations to promote self reliance and environmental conservation.
GWEFODE has implemented this project to protect the right to water and encourage sustainable management of natural resources through capacity building, advocacy, awareness raising, access to information dissemination and strengthening of water management, governance and preservation systems.
